How to Avoid Disconnection

Want to avoid being disconnected? Wellington North Power is here to help you:

  • Sign up for Pre-Authorized Payment to never miss a payment.
  • Not able to pay before the Due Date? Contact us to dicuss setting up a payment arrangement.
  • Apply for financial support through the Ontario Electricity Support Program or the Low-Income Energy Assistance Program.
  • Become more energy efficient.

By taking action, you will avoid late payment fees and/or disconnection charges.

Registering for MyWNP

Residential and Small Business customers of Wellington North Power Inc. can view their accounts online and receive e-mail notification when the latest hydro bill is available by registering on the MyWNP Account Portal.

How:

  • Access from a computer, tablet, phone or device at no cost to you – any time day or night!

Why:

  • To better manage your hydro account, view your daily, weekly, monthly energy consumption.
  • Receive monthly e-mails notifying your latest bill is ready for you to review and download.

Benefits:

  • Set consumption thresholds and receive email alerts when your usage reach that level.
  • View payment history, energy consumption history, account balance and compare bills.
  • No more paper bills.
  • Safe and secure password log-in required to access your account.

 

 

Register for MyWNP:

To register for MyWNP, you will need your Account Number, Meter Number and Total Amount Due (from one of your last 3 invoices). This information is shown on your hydro invoice and will need to be inputted as:
– Account number as printed on your invoice as 8 digits, dash 2 digits (e.g. 01234567-00).
– Meter number as printed on your invoice as WN followed by numbers (e.g. WN123456).

  • Current customer of Wellington North Power? Please follow the steps below to register.
  • New customer of Wellington North Power? For security reasons, you can only register for MyWNP once you have received your 1st paper bill. Once you have your 1st bill, please follow the steps below to register.

 

Register for MyWNP by following the instructions below:

  1. In your search browser, search for Wellington North Power Inc. and select the website.
  2. Click on MyWNP Account Portaland a new page will appear displaying “Welcome to MyWNP”
  3. Click on “Register” and you will be prompted to enter an e-mail address and password. The password must have at least 9 characters (maximum 30 characters) containing 1 uppper-case letter, 1 lower-case letter, 1 number and 1 special character (e.g. !, @, #, $, %).
  4. You will receive an email with a link in it. Click the link which will bring you to the login screen. Type in your “Username” and “Password” and click “Log In”.
  5. Tour around the Dashboard, My Bills, My Energy Usage.
  6. Register for E-Bill notification to receive an e-mail advising your latest monthly hydro bill is available for you to review and download. Register by viewing My Profile.
