Wellington North Power Inc. receives approval to adjust our electricity distribution rates effective May 1, 2025
Electricity charges and services provided by Wellington North Power Inc. are regulated by the Ontario Energy Board, an independent provincial government agency.

Wellington North Power Inc. has received approval from the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) to adjust our electricity distribution rates effective May 1, 2025.
As a result of the OEB’s Decision:
- A Residential customer using 750 kWh per month will see a monthly total bill increase of $0.13 – an increase of 0.09% over current rates.
- A Small Business customer using 2,000 kWh per month will see a monthly total bill decrease of $0.30 – a decrease of -0.08% over current rates.
(This change does not factor in applicable taxes or the Ontario Electricity Rebate.)
