COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program (CEAP)

COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) is a new program from the Government, launched on July 13, 2020.
CEAP is a time-limited program providing a one-time on-bill credit to electricity and natural gas consumers experiencing hardships as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
SCAMS: We are aware of a number of COVID-19 Energy Assistance Programs (CEAP) Scams. For example, customers receiving telephone calls offering the CEAP program and advising a home inspection is required in order to apply. A home inspection is not required to qualify for the program. If in doubt, please call us at 519-323-1710.
One-time Credit:
Eligible customers can receive a one-time credit of up to $750 applied to their hydro bill.
